Don't just come, remain also in Him


The bible says in John 15:5 "I am the vine, ye are the branches, those who remain in me and I in them will produce MUCH FRUIT, for apart from me you can do nothing".
The big question here is: "HOW CAN WE REMAIN IN HIM?

We cannot remain in Him if we haven't first come to Him because it is only those that come to Him that can remain in Him.

So, how can you also come?
John 3:16 says, "for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life". 
It means that you cannot come to Him unless you believe Him. John 1:12 says, "All who believed in Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God".
This means that you will  become part of the church (body of Christ) when you believe.

Now that you've come to Him, how do you remain in Him?
It's simple! All you need do is eat nutritious food which is Christ's flesh and blood. 
John 6:56 says "Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood REMAINS in Me and I in him." This answers how to remain in Him as said in John 15:5. 

What about eating of the flesh and drinking of the blood?
It is also simple! It means accepting his teachings and duly following them.

John 6:45 says, "Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to me". That is, they will all be taught by God. Verse 46 says, "Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I (Christ) who was sent has seen Him." It means that until you have come to Him, you cannot be taught by God because the teachings of God in Christ establishes you in Him.

Do not forget I said that to remain in Him is to eat His flesh and blood (i.e His teachings) which invariably means to eat Christ.

Isaiah 55:13-14 says, "I will teach (make them eat of the flesh and blood of Christ) all your Children and they will enjoy Peace (Christ)."
Don't forget that whatever you eat remains in you and gives peace to all your organs especially when it is good until it becomes digested. And after then, you will eat "again and again" to remain alive
Also, the teachings of Christ will give peace to you and frequent receipt of it will bring you deep into His life.

Verse 14 of Isaiah 55 says, "You will be secured under a government that is just and fair (Christ) and your enemy will stay away" (This is cool, right?).


Please don't just come to Christ, REMAIN also in Him.

INDEPENDENCE (2)

My brothers and sisters, I'm sorry for being gone for soooooo long (I don't have excuses but I must say that I'm strategizing on how to manage time to deliver the words of My Father) It's Nigeria's Independence day (two days ago) as declared by the Federal Government of my beloved country (Nigeria).  Hmm! INDEPENDENCE according to 'wikipedia the free encyclopedia' is a condition of a nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. But for me, I will define it as a complete state of freedom. Christ's position on homosexuality

  Before I commence, please note that this write-up is a joint effort; I combined my write-up  with a friend's to arrive at a conclusion. I begin.
