Live the word

Knowledge is light. Yes, it is! But, what kind of light is it?

Ones knowledge of the Word of God does not guarantee life without a walk with the Spirit of the Word. If you claim you know the Word, Satan knows better but there's something that he's not permitted to access i.e THE HOLYSPIRIT.


So, knowledge without the HOLYSPIRIT does these to you:

  • It makes you boast in vain.
  • It makes you proud and feel you're following God's instructions.
  • It makes your words unrefined.
  • It makes you selfish (as you'll be quoting Matt 25:8-9, "the parable of the ten virgins")
  • It makes you feel that you're right when you're wrong.
  • It makes you vulnerable while you think you're well guarded.
  • It makes you think you're wise while your folly is conspicuously displayed.
  • It makes you a judge over others, etc.

I know that the bible says (Psalm 119:130) "The word of the Lord gives light and understanding to the simple. Also, in John 1:4 "the light is the life of men". It also says "Study to show yourself approved..." Yes, it's true!! But, don't forget that knowledge of the Word should make you walk in the Spirit and transform you into a glorious being.

John 6:63 NLT says "The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life".

From this quote, we were made to understand that even the WORDS are Spirit and Life. Therefore, 

knowledge of the Word without the Spirit is "mere reading of letters" and letters are nothing but laws; and the law makes u a judge. As a judge, you explore the strength of the law and the strength of the law is prosecution. 

Finally, 2 Corinth 3:6 NIV says:

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

KNOWLEDGE of the Word of God is LIGHT if it involves the HOLYSPIRIT. That's why you see that Satan's knowledge of the Word is not light because he does not have the Holyspirit.

Don't just know the word of God, live the word!

INDEPENDENCE (2)

My brothers and sisters, I'm sorry for being gone for soooooo long (I don't have excuses but I must say that I'm strategizing on how to manage time to deliver the words of My Father) It's Nigeria's Independence day (two days ago) as declared by the Federal Government of my beloved country (Nigeria).  Hmm! INDEPENDENCE according to 'wikipedia the free encyclopedia' is a condition of a nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. But for me, I will define it as a complete state of freedom. Christ's position on homosexuality

  Before I commence, please note that this write-up is a joint effort; I combined my write-up  with a friend's to arrive at a conclusion. I begin.
